Anne’s Reflection 3, 2025
Charcoal on paper.
24x18"
This is a drawing that almost didn't hold together. The viewpoint is steep, nearly overhead, and a mirror fragment at the edge introduces a third plane. I've always been interested in what happens when a drawing becomes slightly too much to read comfortably. That disorientation isn't failure — it's information. Anne's presence anchors it, even at an angle that abstracts her.
