Dandelions with blue sky, 2026
Oil on canvas
65 1/2 x 67 in
Inspired by the wild dandelions that grew in the garden of Teddy, a dear friend, following a visit to Monet's Giverny, this painting transforms an overlooked weed into something luminous and worthy of contemplation. The painting was made from photographs revisited after Teddy's passing; each bloom is a small act of remembrance: an elegy to friendship, and a quiet, golden affirmation that life keeps blooming.
